A Manchester United fan filed a report against Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho, saying that the Portuguese punched him after the two teams' clash on Wednesday. The Nerazzuri were demoted to a 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford, and Mourinho was caught in a spat with a Red Devils' fan on his way to the Inter departing bus. "Shortly before midnight last night a man reported that he had been punched in the face outside Old Trafford," a Greater Manchester Police statement read. "We are investigating an allegation of common assault." It is reported that the police have contacted United to provide CCTV footage of the area where the assault allegedly took place. After playing a goalless draw at San Siro, Mourinho saw goals from Nemanja Vidic and Cristiano Ronaldo handed Alex Ferguson's men a berth on the Champions League quarters.
