Ismaili assistant coach Ahmed Al-Agouz stormed out of the press conference that was held after the 1-0 win over Olympic in the Egyptian Premier League. Al-Agouz couldn't bear the scathing criticism that was directed at the Dervishes' technical staff for sidelining Mostafa Karim, who scored the winner in Sunday's game, over the past few weeks. "The coaching staff is solely entitled either to play or bench any player," the infuriated assistant coach said before leaving. "Ricardo Ferreira (head coach) chooses his squads based on players' performances during training." Brazilian coach Ricardo has been panned for shunning several key players over the past few weeks, including Karim. "Karim exerted huge efforts in the pre-match session and produced an impressive display, and thus was named for the game," Al-Agouz explained.
