Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti revealed that his side's main objective this season is to win the UEFA Champions League. The Nerazzurri have last won Europe's premier competition in 1965. Inter are chasing a fourth consecutive Serie A title but the Champions League represents a bigger aim for them, Moratti says. "We are fighting on all fronts and giving everything we can each day," he was quoted as saying by Calcio Italia. "The League championship is an important objective and we must continue to do well, while the Champions League would be the greatest satisfaction for every Inter fan after the many years we have been waiting." Inter face Manchester United in the competition's round of 16 later this month. Moratti also heaped praise on Inter's Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, who was recently criticized for the team's unconvincing displays in the Serie A. "After just six months in the job, Mourinho has managed to settle in brilliantly and transmit his philosophy and will to win on the squad." "He is a meticulous person and he is very well prepared. The fruits of his labour are visible from the results he has achieved so far," Moratti added.
