Zamalek fined Agogo for not sweating - agent
Published in FilGoal on 04 - 02 - 2009

Junior Agogo's agent Ernest Okudzeto was stunned when Zamalek's officials told him the Ghanaian international was sanctioned because he didn't 'sweat' during a match.
The well-built hitman had $200,000 deducted from his payments as a disciplinary action, but the Cairo side didn't reveal the reason why he was punished.
Consequently, Okudzeto traveled to Cairo in order to sort out the problem, but he was revolted by the White Knights' absurd excuse for fining Agogo.
"I was negatively gobsmacked when I asked for the reasons and I was told the so called fine was imposed because he did not sweat in a game," Okudzeto told Ghanasoccernet.com.
"This is the most shocking thing I have heard in football. They have no valid reason so they come up with this cock and bull story."
Reputation
The agent pointed out that the way Zamalek are mistreating the 29-year-old might tarnish the reputation of Arab clubs altogether.
"They keep changing their stories from day to day," said Okudzeto. "Zamalek are giving Africa and Arab football a very bad name by their actions.
"That is why they are petrified to put it into writing so that they can be challenged before FIFA. How can this be said when a player plays a game for 90 minutes?"
Agogo, who joined Zamalek from Nottingham Forest last summer, skipped training for several days when he was informed of his fine.
Later on, the unsettled striker made a complaint to the Egyptian FA about the deducted payments, but the latter took no action.
