Skipper Shadi Mohamed has been included in Ahli's squad for Monday's Egyptian Premier League game against Harras Hodoud after recovering from a calf injury. The influential defender missed Ahli's 1-0 Cairo derby victory over Zamalek last Sunday due to the complaint. Shadi is now set to regain his place in Ahli's backline after Mohamed Samir deputized for him against Zamalek. Midfielder Hussein Ali, who has been given limited opportunities since joining from Petrojet in the close season, has been also named in the Cairo giants' squad for Hodoud game. Although Tunisian midfielder Anis Boujelbene was given a chance against Zamalek, he was dropped by Ahli coach Manuel Jose for the league's rescheduled match. Reports indicate that Boujelbene's days at the Red Devils are numbered. The 30-year-old, whose contract runs out at the end of the season, has been linked with a return to his former club Sfaxien. There was no room for striker Ahmed Hassan Farag as Jose continues to relay on Osama Hosni and Ahmed Belal as back-up frontmen. Star playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika, defensive midfielder Hossam Ashour and forward Hussein Yasser are all out through injury. Ahli, who are looking to win a fifth consecutive league title, will occupy the summit for the first time this season if they beat military club Hodoud. Hodoud caused a huge upset when they eliminated Ahli from the Egyptian Cup round of 16 earlier this month.
