Ahli will not offload Flavio Amado unless they find his replacement, the club's marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi said on Thursday. Saudi side Shabab are looking to sign the in-form Angolan striker on a six-month loan deal. They tabled a € 500,000 offer to prize him away from Ahli. "We are discussing Shabab's bid for Flavio," Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com on Thursday. "The club preliminary accepted Shabab's proposal but we have to sign a new striker to fill in for the player." Ahli's current squad boasts four other strikers in Ahmed Belal, Osama Hosni, Hani Al-Egeizi and Ahmed Hassan Farag. However, coach Manuel Jose prefers to rely on Flavio as a lone frontman. The 29-year-old has been an integral part of Ahli's squad since joining from Petro Atletico in 2005. He finished as the Egyptian League top scorer in the 2006/2007 season with 17 goals. Flavio also played a pivotal role in Ahli's CAF Champions League triumphs in 2006 and 2008.
