Mohamed Zidan wants to carry on scoring crucial goals for Borussia Dortmund, with disregard to his total tally. The Egyptian found the net four times since joining Jurgen Klopp's side in the summer, but every goal he had scored was of significant importance to the team. "I want to score more important goals; the number does not matter," Zidan said in an interview with Bild. "In Mainz, I scored 13 goals in 15 games, but we were demoted at the end." Zidan's goals could not help Mainz two seasons ago when Klopp was in charge, but now the 27-year-old is given another opportunity to shine with his 'Godfather'. "Klopp is like a friend to me; I know what he wants from me," the former Hamburg hitman added. "I usually discuss my problems with him, even personal matters. This is good for my confidence." Prior to the winter break, Zidan managed to establish himself as a regular member of Klopp's starting line-up in the Bundesliga. Dortmund will resume their league campaign at the end of January, when they host Bayer Leverkusen at Signal Iduna.
