German referee Florian Meyer has been chosen to officiate Sunday's Cairo derby between Ahli and Zamalek in the Egyptian league. The Egyptian FA said on their official website that the 40-year-old will take charge of the eagerly-anticipated clash at Cairo Stadium. Meyer is a FIFA referee since 2002. He was the fourth official in the 2007 Champions League final between AC Milan and Liverpool. Egyptian champions Ahli will be aiming to maintain their impressive record against arch-rivals Zamalek in recent years.
