Hossam Al-Badri said the early arrival of Ahli's contingent in Japan will help the players adapt to the new environment before the FIFA Club World Cup Kicks off on December 11th. In their first participation in the elite competition in 2005, the Cairo giants couldn't settle down easily as a result of the Seven-hour time difference between Japan and Egypt, which notably reflected on their performances. "We have plenty of time to get ready and avoid any setbacks," Ahli assistant coach Al-Badri told the club's official website. He revealed that the technical staff is taking a closer look at their opening game's opponents CF Pachuca by watching some of their previous matches.
Al-Badri "Watching Pachuca playing will definitely enables us to become accustomed to their style," Al-Badri added. "It also helps you put your finger on the weaknesses and strengths, and plot the suitable strategy for the encounter." The Red Devils are finalizing their preparation for the international tournament, and currently they are concentrating on improving the tactical abilities. Ahli, who are making a record third appearance in the Club World Cup after claiming the CAF Champions League title, are expected to be tough opponents against the CONCACAF champions. The eagerly-anticipated match is taking place on Saturday morning.
