Petrojet coach Mokhtar Mokhtar said he was frustrated with the Egyptian League's 'too many' breaks. "Technical and physical problems always occur whenever the league is stopped," Mokhtar told FilGoal.com on Sunday. "My players started feeling the adverse effects of such breaks." The Egyptian League is renowned for its instability in terms of fixtures. Clubs do always voice objections to any potential changes in match schedule. Egypt's commitments and the clubs' participations in continental and Arab competitions force the Egyptian Football Association to halt league activities more than once throughout the season. Despite Mokhtar's complaints, Petrojet took the league by storm to prove that they are a force to be reckoned with in Egypt's premier competition. Petrojet's 2-1 victory over Telecom Egypt maintained their position on top of the table with 28 points, five ahead of second-placed ENPPI.
