Zamalek's request to field Mahmoud Abdul-Razek 'Shikabala' against Olympic has been met with a flat refusal from world governing body FIFA. The Cairo giants were hoping to deploy the 22-year-old in the upcoming Egyptian League match on October 26th, the last day of the player's six-month suspension, but FIFA said he has to serve his punishment till the very last day. "We have contacted FIFA to inquire about the possibility of playing Shikabala in the last day of his suspension," assistant coach Tarek Yehia told FilGoal.com. "But they told us the suspension expires exactly on October 26th by midnight, therefore he can't participate in the game." Yehia said he's preparing Shikabala for his imminent comeback. The player should be ready for Zamalek's league game against Arab Contractors next month. The 22-year-old was handed a six-month ban and a 990,000 euros fine for making an illegitimate move from Greek side PAOK Saloniki to Zamalek in January 2007.
