Ahli forward Mohamed Abou-Treika joined his team's Monday training straight after featuring in Egypt's 4-0 over Djibouti in Sunday's African World Cup qualifier. The Red Devils' official website said that the club's coaching staff decided that Abou-Treika should take part in a Monday light training as part of the team's preparations for the Enyimba game on October 18th. Abou-Treika was joined in the training by Egypt compatriots Wael Gomaa and keeper Amir Abdul-Hamid after the pair's participation against Djibouti. Egypt skipper Ahmed Hassan was the only international allowed skipping Monday's training after facing Djibouti. While Abou-Treika and Hassan scored in Egypt's win, Gomaa played the whole match and Amir came on as a second half substitute. Meanwhile, midfielder Mohamed Barakat is set to comeback from a knee strain injury after club doctor Ehab Ali gave him the all clear. After their away 0-0 draw against Enyimba in the African Champions League semi-final first leg, Ahli need a home win to secure qualification to the competition's final.
