Capello calls for Wembley support
Published in FilGoal on 11 - 10 - 2008

England coach Fabio Capello begged England fans to show full support when their team take on Kazakhstan in Saturday's World Cup qualifier in Wembley.
The three lions were jeered off by fans in their last three Wembley outings and Capello hopes that today's game will be a different affair.
“I hope the fans don't boo after 20 minutes if England don't score a goal in that time,” Capello was quoted as saying by Sky Sports on Saturday.
“This is very important. Don't boo. You have to help us. Help us. It's very, very important for the players to play. And we have to ask the fans to help us.”
Capello has the Chelsea duo of John Terry and Joe Cole ruled out of the game with injuries, However the Italian said he's delighted to have Steven Gerrard back for England.
“I think Steven Gerrard is a fantastic player and against Kazakhstan you will see he plays in a very important position on the field.”
The Liverpool skipper recently complained about playing out of position for England, but Capello confirmed that he knows how to get the best out of the 28-year-old.
“I think I know the best position for Gerrard. You will see, although for me he can play in two or three positions. It depends on the game which one he plays in.”
After their emphatic 4-1 win over Croatia in Zagreb, England are currently joint top of group F with Ukraine with six points each.
