Ahli general coordinator Hadi Khashaba revealed that Emad Meteb signed a one-year extension to his contract with the Reds, before leaving to Ittihad Jeddah on loan. "Meteb agreed to extend his contract until 2010 before going on loan to Ittihad," Khashaba told FilGoal.com on Wednesday. Meteb, who joined the Asian Tigers for $1.5M, scored on his debut in a pre-season friendly with Al-Gaish of Qatar on Tuesday. However, Khashaba conceded that Meteb's transfer certificate is yet to be sent to the Jeddah giants, who still have to pay Ahli $600,000.
