Turkish side Ankaragucu are interested in signing Feyenoord's Egyptian goalkeeper Sherif Ekrami, according to a Dutch report. A delegation from Ankaragucu watched Ekrami in action when Feyenoord played a friendly against Konyaspor, Dutch website soccer4u reported on Wednesday. The former Ahli guardian produced a fine display but was injured in the game. However, Ankaragucu are unlikely to find it easy to land Ekrami as Feyenoord have put a hefty price tag on him. The 25-year-old has rarely featured for Feyenoord since joining from Cairo giants Ahli in 2005. He recently revealed that he would leave the Dutch club if he wasn't granted first-team football.
