American swimmer Michael Phelps has set his sights on clinching more than eight medals in Beijing, the Olympic Games' official website reported. Phelps is looking to surpass the feat he achieved in Athens four years ago when he won six gold and two bronze medals. The 23-year-old has a chance to make history in the Olympic Games, which starts on August 8th. If Phelps wins eight goal medals, he will beat the record of legendary swimmer Mark Spitz, who clinched seven goal medals in the 1974 Olympics.
