Milan's Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho said he was prepared to start the new season in a better shape than last term. The two-time World Player of the Year joined Milan from Spanish giants Barcelona after being deemed surplus to requirements at Nou Camp. Ronaldinho suffered fitness and injury problems during his last two years with Barca, but he his determined to regain his top form after moving to Milan. "I am improving day by day. I am becoming reborn with Milan," he was quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport. "I am working hard, following a personal fitness program with a specific diet and I think I'm close to 100 per cent now. "On August 7, when we make our Olympic debut, I will be in ideal shape." The 28-year-old showed gratitude to Milan for allowing him to participate in next month's Olympic Games. He will play with Brazil as one of the over-age players. "I thank Carlo Ancelotti and the club for having authorized me to come to the Olympics, as it will be an excellent way of preparing for the Italian season."
