Ittihad President Mohamed Mosselhi has revealed that he is trying to sign Ahli's unsettled striker Ahmed Belal. "We made an enquiry and Ahli's officials put a EGP 2 million price-tag for Belal," Mosselhi told FilGoal.com on Monday. "We can't afford such a sum and I will ask for a loan-deal," added Mosselhi. Belal, 27, returned from Konyaspor to Ahli at the beginning of the season, but failed to break through Manuel Jose's starting lineup. Despite not playing a handful of games, Belal ended the season as joint top scorer for the Red Devils with six goals, just like Osama Hosni, Mohamed Barakat and Mohamed Abou-Treika. Meanwhile, Mosselhi confirmed that he is set to hold talks with right-winger Rami Saied to extend his contract at the Alexandrian side. Recent reports claimed that Saied has reached an agreement with Petrojet and that he will ink a three-year deal worth 1.4 million. "We agreed terms a few weeks ago but I don't know if he changed his mind. I'll talk to him and see. If he wants to leave I have nothing against it," said the Ittihad chief.
