Ahli marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi has confirmed the signing of Qatar forward Hussein Yasser from Portugal's Boavista. Yasser, who is the son of former Egyptian footballer Yasser Mohammadi, has an Egyptian passport and will be registered as a native player. "Yasser signed a three-year contract on Tuesday," Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com. The 26-year-old signed on a free and will be Ahli's third recruitment in the frontline this summer, following deals with Ahmed Hassan and Hani Al-Egeizy. Yasser had spells with Manchester City, Sporting Braga and Antwerp, as he also played for Al-Sadd and Al-Rayan in Qatar.
