Bayern in striker crisis against Zenit

Bayern Munich are left short of strikers ahead of Thursday's UEFA Cup semi-final with Zenit Petersburg, after Miroslav Klose was declared doubtful for the clash.
Bayern said that Klose failed to train on Tuesday due to a foot inflammation as a result of a knock he received in last week's German Cup final win over Dortmund.
However, the Bavarians' biggest blow lays in the absence of suspended goal ace Luca Toni, whose goal torrent reached 35 so far this term.
Frenchman Franck Ribery was also rested on Tuesday, but the talented winger is fit to face the Russian outfit at Allianz Arena.
Midfielder Mark Van Bommel will also shake off a broken nose as he is set to play with a protective mask.
