Roma skipper Francesco Totti could be out for up to six months after tearing ligaments in his right knee, according to Calcio Italia magazine. "With all likelihood it is a sprained right knee with damage to the anterior cruciate ligament," Roma coach Luciano Spalletti said on Saturday. Calcio Italia magazine stated that tests showed Totti needs an operation. He will be sidelined for up to six months. The 31-year-old was taken off the pitch in the first-half of Roma's 1-1 Serie A draw with Livorno on Saturday after sustaining the knee injury. "I think Francesco is not in good shape and I am rather worried," Roma's managing director Rosella Sensi said. "It's a great shame and adds to a very sad day. In any case, we will not give in on the Scudetto. I wish to thank the players and the Coach."
