Amr Zaki has apologized to Zamalek on Wednesday for faking injury but the club insisted that the striker will be questioned over his attitude. "Zaki apologized but the matter is not over. We have to find out the reasons behind his action," Zamalek assistant coach Mohamed Helmi told FilGoal.com. The combative frontman missed Zamalek's CAF Champions League clash against Africa Sports on Sunday due to an alleged injury. Zaki's claims were fended off after a scan proved that he is injury-free, prompting suggestions that he intentionally skipped the 2-0 defeat to Africa Sports. Zamalek progressed to the Champions League round of 16 after a penalty shootout victory over the Ivorian outfit. Meanwhile, Zaki was omitted from Zamalek's 18-man squad for Masri game in the Egyptian League on Thursday. Talented winger Mahmoud Abdul-Razeq 'Shikabala' was also left out due to an ankle problem. The squad included two youngsters in Ahmed Ibrahim and Alaa Ali. Zamalek squad: Goalkeepers: Mohamed Abdul-Monsef, Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed.
