Zamalek reversed their decision to file a complaint against Africa Sports after the Ivorian outfit formally apologized for the poor reception the Cairo giants got in Abidjan. The five-time African champions arrived in Abidjan to face Africa Sports in the second-leg of the CAF Champions League round of 32 on Sunday. Zamalek assistant coach Mohamed Helmi was outraged by Africa Sports failure to provide buses to transport the team to the hotel where they will stay. Consequently, the men in white decided to file an official complaint to African governing body CAF, only to make a U-turn later on. "Africa Sports vice-president Vagba Alexis offered his apology to our team for what happened," Zamalek said in a statement on their official website. "He promised to cover all our expenses and vowed to oppose any difficulties we face. Consequently, we decided not to pursue our complaint." Zamalek will be looking to defend their two-goal advantage in the return leg after beating Africa Sports 2-0 at home.
