Brazilian ace Ronaldinho is set to invoke FIFA's article 17 to force a move away from Barcelona, reports claimed on Thursday. Calcio Italia revealed on Thursday that AC Milan's vice president Adriano Galliani met the player's agent Roberto Assis to discuss a probable switch to San Siro. AC Milan have been monitoring the 28-year old player for two years now but has dropped their hunt recently. But the player seems far from settled at Camp Nou and has been under fire over the past 18 months. The report suggested that three-time world player of the year may use FIFA's article 17 to complete the move that could take around £12m. The article 17 allows players to buy out their contract at a club as long as they are at least 28 and have spent three years at a club. Barcelona turned down a £30m-bid last season for the Brazilian ace, who is under contract until 2010.
