Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard was left stranded after his side gave away a two-goal lead at Real Betis to lose 3-2 in the Primera Liga on Saturday. Bojan Krkic and Samuel Eto'o gave the Catalans a 2-0 lead at half-time, but Betis scored three times in the last half-hour to hand Rijkaard's team a 6th Liga defeat this term. "We saw two different Barcelona sides and I feel embarrassed about the result," said the Dutchman after the game. "We dominated the first half and it is difficult to comprehend how the match changed so much in the second half. We talked at the interval and said we would have to go out motivated and keep up the pressure. "All we needed to do was carry on like the first half but it didn't happen and is inexplicable." Villarreal Take Advantage To add to Rijkaard's woes, Villarreal rout Atletico Madrid 3-0 to leapfrog Barca in second place and move within three points of leaders Real Madrid. "I heard Barcelona lost so we are second which is great," said Villarreal star Nihat Kahveci, who scored twice at Madrigal. "There is a long way to go and we will just see what happens. We have Sevilla in our next match and that will be tough."
