Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano has admitted a charge of improper conduct after being sent-off in his side's Premiership clash against Manchester United. The Argentinean has requested a personal hearing on the third of April. Mascherano picked up a second booking for his attitude towards referee Steve Bennet during Liverpool's 3-0 defeat to United. The 23-year-old has seemingly questioned the official's decision to caution his teammate Fernando Torres. Mascherano will miss Liverpool's Merseyside derby against Everton on Sunday as he serves an automatic one-match suspension. However, if the charge of improper conduct is upheld then he will miss further two games against Arsenal and Blackburn Rovers.
