Ahli have decided to raise Essam Al-Hadari's case of FIFA after the international goalkeeper joined FC Sion without the club's approval. The Egyptian giants' decision came after Al-Hadari's insistence to terminate his Ahli contract and join the Swiss club, as noticed from a letter sent to Ahli. "Al-Hadari sent a letter to the club saying that he stands firm in his decision," Ahli spokesman Gamal Gabr told FilGoal.com. "He has made it clear that he wants to leave for Sion, even without Ahli's approval, that's why we asked the Egyptian FA to raise the case to FIFA." Gabr also revealed that Ahli received a notification from Sion asking for the player's transfer license and stressing that they had the right to sign him. Ahli were furious with Al-Hadari's stance and vowed to take legal action against the Swiss club in order to preserve their rights.
