Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba has warned his teammates of underestimating their next opponent Benin, who lost their Nations Cup opener against Mali. "Of course, beating one of the tournament favourites has boosted our confidence," Drogba told a press conference on Thursday. "But we respect every team in this group. It's the media who talk only of Nigeria and Ivory Coast in this group. We are fully aware we are not allowed to fail." "Two years ago, we beat Morocco 1-0 in our first game. Then, we played Libya and everybody said it would be easy. We eventually laboured to a 2-1 victory," added the Chelsea striker. The Elephants defeated Nigeria 1-0, thanks to a solo effort from Salomon Kalou. They need to beat Benin to secure their qualification before the final game in the group stage against Mali.
