Kanoute opens the door for Spurs return

Sevilla striker Frederic Kanoute has revealed that he could consider a U-turn for the Premier League side Tottenham to replace Dimitar Berbatov who has been linked with Manchester United.
"I would like to play in the Premier League again one day - who knows? I had a good time there so why not? If the opportunity comes I'd look into it,” the 30-year old Malian told the Sun on Friday.
Kanoute has been linked with Spurs since Juande Ramos moved to White Hart Lane two months ago.
He made a huge impact with Sevilla leading them to two consecutive UEFA Cup titles and is considered as one of the best goleadores in Spain.
"At the moment I am happy in Spain but if Tottenham offer me a great opportunity then I would consider it. Let's wait and see.”
"I've probably improved since I went to Spain but I feel there are parts of my game that can get better,” concluded Kanoute.
