Senegal name unattached player for African Cup

Senegal named veteran defender Lamine Diatta in their squad for the African Cup of Nations despite being without a club.
The 32-year-old center back has been unattached since leaving Turkish side Besiktas in 2007.
Diatta played for French sides Marseille, Toulouse, Rennes and Lyon.
He scored the winner against Egypt in their encounter in the 2002 African Cup.
English-based strikers Henri Camara and El Hadji Diouf, who play for West Ham and Bolton respectively, and Portsmouth midfielder Pape Bouba Diop lead the team in Ghana.
Reading's uncapped defender Ibrahima Sonko was also named in the squad.
Senegal play in Groud D alongside Angola, Tunisia and South Africa.
The tournament starts on January 20th and ends on February 10th.
