Some 5000 Liverpool fans are set to rally in support for coach Rafael Benitez on Wednesday before the Champions League clash with Porto. According to BBC sport, the supporters will march to Anfield from a nearby pub to protest over the owners transfer policy. American owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks refused to discuss the proposed shopping list, with the latter telling him to "focus on training the players he has." Benitez replied in a unique fashion, answering all questions during a recent press conference with "I am focused on training my team," an answer he repeated for more than 25 times. A group of Liverpool fans named Reclaim the Kop are the organizers of the rally and say that Benitez is the most important figure at Anfield. "Liverpool Football Club exists not to make money," a group's spokesman was quoted as saying. "It exists to win trophies and be a source of pride for its supporters. "It serves no other purpose. Rafa is far and away the most important figure at Anfield, bar none."
