Barcelona midfielder Edmilson called on his teammates to show more unity in order to get their Primera Liga campaign back on track. The Catalan giants had an inconsistent start to the new season and stumbled several times away from Nou Camp. The dressing room atmosphere apparently played a role in Barca's indifferent displays, prompting Edmilson to call for a new positive approach. "The players are here to make history with the club. I will not be at the club in five or six years time and neither will Ronaldinho and many others," Edmilson told Marca. "One player like his car, another may be always on the mobile while another may have a new watch, but when we are all out on the pitch training, we have to give it our all for the sake of the club." Ronaldinho support Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho was criticized for failing to replicate the form that saw him twice named World Player of the Year. His compatriot Edmilson believes giving him more playing time is the only way to help him in such crisis. "I think that is going through a difficult time. I do not know whether it is something external or whether it is a personal problem," the former Lyon man said. "But I am not of the belief that it would be best if he was rested because I think that being on the bench would only lower his esteem further. He is a guy than cannot be sad."
