Once again Filippo Inzaghi has proven to be the man for AC Milan as he came off the bench to hit a brace and lead his side to a 3-0 away win over Ukrainian Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday. The Rossoneri have now nine points from four matches and got a three-point lead on top of group D ahead of Shakhtar. The 34-year old striker came in to replace Alberto Gilardino in the 63rd minute and break the deadlock three minutes later with a trademark through ball from Andrea Pirlo. Six minutes later, he assisted Brazilian playmaker Kaka to double the lead but he had the last word with a stoppage time strike. Elsewhere Celtic beat Benfica 1-0 courtesy of Aiden McGeady's long-range's shot in the 45th minute. The Scottish giants move to the third place with six points while the Portuguese lay down at the bottom of the group with three points only.
