Jens Lehmann has yet again aimed a swipe at his Arsenal teammate Manuel Almunia after the latter claimed that he is the Gunners' number one. Almunia has been deputizing the injured Lehmann since the 1-1 draw at Blackburn in August, where the German committed a dreadful error to let in Rovers' equalizer. However, Almunia's 'number one' claims were not welcomed by the 37-year-old despite the fact that the Spaniard managed to keep nine clean sheets for Arsenal so far. "It's the first time I have not been playing and that is due to an elbow injury and Almunia has now said he is the better goalie," Lehmann told The Sun. "But if I join a team in which No.1 goalie has been the No 1 for years and also won titles and then I fail to perform, I find those remarks disrespectful." Lehmann also blasted former Germany goalkeeping rival Oliver Kahn last week after the Bayern Munich legend praised himself as one of Germany's best ever goalies.
