Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate has been relieved to know that Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam "Mido" is fit to play against Everton next Sunday in day 8 of the Premier League. "We've had some more positive news this afternoon. Both Mido and Tuncay have gone for scans and there's no significant damage and both have a chance of playing on Sunday," Southgate was quoted saying on the club's official website. Mido picked up an injury last Saturday against Sunderland and had to be replaced by Lee Cattermole in the 63rd minute. There have been fears he could be sidelined for a long period but fortunately he'll be able to get back to action very soon. Southgate suffered from strikers blow as Mido, Turkish Sanli Tuncay and Frenchman Jeremie Aliadiere were ruled out with injuries. However, Mido and Tuncay are now back to strengthen Boro's front line.
