Bayern Munich ended a two-game winless streak with a thrashing away victory over Karlsruhe 4-1 on Sunday, in day six of the Bundesliga. New goal machine Luca Toni broke the deadlock after only five minutes as he controlled a ball from Mark Van Bommel bringing it down and lobbing the goalie. Miroslav Klose doubled the lead in the 20th minute picking the rebound from Hamit Altintop's shot and sending it to the back of the net from close range. Back from the break Altintop crowned his effort and made it 3-0 connecting with Marcell Jansen's cross in the 49th minute. Porcello pulled one back for the hosts three minutes later giving them hopes for a fight back but the Bavarian defense and keeper Oliver Kahn broke all their attempts until Brazilian Ze Roberto got his name on the score sheet 15th minute from time to kill any chances of a comeback. The victory sends Bayern Munich two points clear on top of the Bundesliga ahead of Hertha Berlin as the Bavarians accumulated 14 points from six matches.
