Ribery delighted with Bayern choice

France forward Frank Ribery is very happy with Bayern Munich strong start that proves he made the right decision by joining the Bavarian giants.
“Lots of people were surprised when I joined Bayern, because they thought that I was destined for either Spain or England. But after my debut in Munich, nobody is questioning my decision," Ribery told l'Equipe.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been linked with Real Madrid and Arsenal but he finally opted for the German adventure.
“I've got to know how Bayern works and the club is absolutely top class. Everything is done correctly."
“I'm only 24 and have signed a four year contract. I hope to stay here for a long time."
The World Cup runner-up moved to Bayern Munich coming from Marseille worth 35 million euros last summer as the German giants splashed more than 70 million euros to reconstruct the team.
The 24 year old midfielder is also happy with the way the fans have treated him. “I never thought that I would be this popular” he admitted.
