Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung said he eyes a comeback to action early in 2008 after lengthy periods on the sidelines. The Korean international underwent a knee surgery late last season and spent the entire summer in rehab but still needs more time to be fit. "Hopefully, I will be playing again early in the New Year," he was quoted as saying by the official website of the Premier League. "My knee is getting better; it's a case of so far, so good." United have signed three midfielders over the summer and Ji-Sung hailed their arrival as reinforcement to his side's chances to retain the English title. Alex Ferguson landed Portugal's Nani, Brazil's Anderson and English international Owen Hargreaves. "Nani is very quick (and) Owen works hard. Anderson hasn't played much but I am looking forward to see more of him," Ji-Sung said. United had a sluggish start to the season, gathering only eight points from five matches. They are placed eighth in the league table.
