After spending three years in Spain, Brazilian forward Ronaldinho will get a Spanish passport and become a Spanish citizen which will allow his team Barcelona to sign another non-European player. The club announced the news on Thursday on their official website. The Catalans have been in the middle of controversy as the Spanish league sides are only permitted to have three non-European players. Barcelona signed in Mexican Giovanni dos Santos and they had already Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o and Yaya Toure. The club also announced that Dos Santos will be handed a double nationality in the coming days.
