Hazem Emam said he will be playing for Zamalek till at least the end of the season as he reconsidered his earlier decision to retire the game. The Zamalek captain was surprisingly booed by fans during his side's 1-0 defeat to Ismaili in the season opener last week. He came off the bench as a substitute, replacing fan-favorites Mahmoud Abdul-Razek 'Shikabala' and was the subject of angry chants by thousands of supporters. Emam took off his shirt after the game and made gestures that meant he will quit. "I was angry and frustrated because of the fans' reaction," the 32-year-old playmaker told Dream TV on Saturday. "But several supporters and football experts convinced me to keep going. I promise them all to be as fit as they wish very soon."
