Ismaili have put striker Walid Salah Abdul-Latif and midfielder Mohamed Abdul-Wahed on the transfer list, chairman Yehia Al-Koumi said on Thursday. “Abdul-Wahed has financial troubles with Zamalek and is currently suspended by the Egyptian Football Association while Abdul-Latif is missing most of the games because of repetitive injuries,” Yehia Al-Koumi told reporters.
Walid Salah Abdul-Latif Former Zamalek midfielder Abdul-Wahed blamed the president for his current situation as the latter promised him to solve his case and he didn't. The EFA players' committee allowed Abdul-Wahed's move to Ismaili on a free transfer on the condition of giving back the sum of EGP 300 000 he had received from Zamalek. The 27-year-old refused to return the money to Zamalek and so he has been suspended since August 1st.
