AS Roma defender Cristian Chivu is on the verge of moving to Serie A rivals Inter Milan, if to believe his agent. "Chivu is in Rome and he could be in Milan by tomorrow," Giovanni Becali said to the Italian news agency ANSA. Chivu had been reported on the move since June but the transfer had been blocked several times. "It wasn't about the money, it was a question of pride between Roma president Rosella Sensi and Inter president Massimo Moratti," he said. "We reached an agreement with Inter some time ago." The fee for Chivu is expected to be in the region of 15 million euros. Inter made their bid in June and pulled it back when Real Madrid made an 18-million-euro offer for the 26-year-old defender. But the Romania captain turned it down because he didn't want to leave Italy to get Inter back on the table.
