Ahli right-back Islam Al-Shater has been ruled out of his side's CAF Champions League clash against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday due to injury, the Egyptian champions said. Al-Shater will be given time to rest after he suffered inflammation in the Achilles tendon, team doctor Ehab Ali told the club's official website on Friday. "No need to worry Al-Shater will be ok, the pain is not serious. Coach Manuel Jose left him out because he doesn't risk fielding any player if he is not 100% ready." Ahmed Adel, who arrived from Olympic in the January transfer window, is expected to stand-in for the former Ismaili defender. The defending champions will face Sundowns away from home in the first-leg of the Champions League round of 16.
