Tottenham manager Martin Jol revealed he would rather win the FA Cup than see his team crowned UEFA Cup champions this season. The Dutch tactician is preparing to take on Portuguese side Braga in the UEFA Cup on Wednesday, as he signaled that the Premiership 5th place pursuit in addition to the FA Cup campaign are first on his priority list. "I'd like to win the FA Cup first, then probably the UEFA Cup, then the year after the Championship," Jol told Sky Sports News on Wednesday. "The UEFA Cup would be nice but you have to be realistic, there are big teams in there. If I had to make a choice now I would want to win all the Premiership matches and finish fifth." Nevertheless, Tottenham will have to get past Premiership champions Chelsea if they want to win the FA Cup. Tottenham held Chelsea to a 3-3 draw in the Cup quarter-finals on Sunday, but will have the advantage of playing at White Harte Lane in the replay scheduled for March 19th. Spurs are currently in 8th place in the Premiership with nine matches remaining, and they are desperately pushing for a higher position in order to secure a place in the UEFA Cup next season.
