Egyptian champions Ahli have filed a request to postpone the league games against Masri and Ghazl Mahalla for 24 hours, due to the African commitments. Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri said that his team will not have enough time to prepare for Masri's game, which is scheduled for Thursday March 9th. “We arrive from Zimbabwe at 7 am on Wednesday morning, and the game against Masri is on Thursday, which will be too hard for our players,” Al-Badri told FilGoal.com on Sunday. The African champions will begin their title defense against Highlanders club in Zimbabwe in the round of 32 of the CAF Champions League on March 4th. Al-Badri said that Ahli officials also asked to postpone the match against Mahalla on March 14th for 24 hours, to allow enough time between the two games. The interim football supervisor is set to travel to Harare on Tuesday to prepare for the team's arrival and accommodation in Zimbabwe.
