Ittihad Jeddah said they have signed Portugal's legend and Inter Milan midfielder Luis Figo on an 18-month contract, starting from next January. The Saudi giants said in a statement posted on their official website that Figo will arrive in Jeddah on January fifth after all details were sorted out. Neither the player nor Inter Milan issued comments over this report. Figo is set to sign the contract in a huge press conference in Dubai and is due to wear his famous number seven shirt, Saudi paper Al-Watan reported. The 34-year-old winger played in Spain for ten years split between Barcelona and Real Madrid before joining Inter last season. Italian media reported that Figo was seeking a move out of Inter after falling out with manager Roberto Mancini.
