Zamalek gave away two easy goals as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Algerian side Ahli Bordj in the Arab Champions League (ACL) in Cairo on Monday. Amr Zaki put Zamalek ahead from the spot in the first-half but Bachir Boudjelid equalized for the Algerians after Mahmoud Mahmoud failed to clear an easy ball, leaving two strikers face-to-face with keeper Mohamed Abdul-Monsef. Gamal Hamza restored the lead in the 90th minute after combining with substitute playmaker Awuley Quay 'Junior'. But Zamalek let the lead slip away again when their defenders' poor marking allowed Boudjelid to net his second goal deep into the injury time. Omani referee Abdullah Al-Hilali was subject to an intensive abuse from the Algerians as he was smacked and spat at by Ahli Bordj officials and players. Thousands of Zamalek fans in the Cairo International Stadium chanted angry slogans against manager Manuel Cajuda during and after the game and demanded sacking him. Both sides have one point each after Group A opener as Ahli Jeddah climbed to the top spot of the group after coasting past Qadsia of Kuwait 6-0 on the same day. *More details on the tournament's official website www.acl.tv
