Zamalek have made a u-turn on their decision to sign Esperance goalkeeper Jean-Jacques Tizie of Ivory Coast upon the technical staff's request. The club's assistant coach Ahmed Ramzi said there was no need to acquire the services of the 34-year-old keeper due to his relatively old age. Zamalek have recently announced the signing of Tizie for two and a half years in a deal worth $260,000 after he passed a medical. The Ivorian keeper is tipped to join Masri to fill the void left by injured Cameroonian goalie Iboon Massenga. Meanwhile, FilGoal.com has learned that Zamalek are looking for a new right-back, defensive midfielder and central defender. The Cairo giants eye Harras Al-Hodoud's Ahmed Samir, former Zamalek player Ahmed Ghanem, who plays for Backo in Azerbaijan and Ghazl Mahalla defender Mahmoud Fathallah. On the other hand, Zamalek board has insisted that Portuguese coach Manuel Cajuda will continue in his post in the coming period. Reports suggested that Cajuda is on his way out of Zamalek after he had several bust-ups with the team's stars.
