Zamalek striker Amr Zaki has fallen out with Portuguese manager Manuel Cajuda after the latter accused him of escaping the club's matches. Zaki will miss Zamalek's clash against Libyan side Ittihad in the second leg of the Arab Champions League (ACL) due to an ear problem but Cajuda is not convinced with the excuse. The Egypt international striker was hurt during the first leg but carried on and scored the only goal of the game. FilGoal.com has learned that Zaki's refusal to travel with the team to Libya fuelled the anger of Cajuda, who accused the 23-year-old of intentionally skipping the matches similar to what he did against Morocco's Meknes in the ACL preliminary round.
Cajuda Zaki responded by confirming that he was injured before Meknes' game but Cajuda told him he doesn't need his services and that Zamalek will win without him. The former ENPPI man is the club's leading scorer in the Egyptian League with six goals. Cajuda was involved in a series of bust-ups with several players including skipper Hazem Emam, Mostafa Gaafar, Tamer Abdul-Hamid and Ibrahim Saied.
