Real Madrid are looking to make up for a disappointing start in the UEFA Champions League when they host Ukraine's Dynamo Kiev in Group E action on Tuesday. The Spanish giants were handed a 2-0 away defeat to French champions Lyon in their UCL opener. Real coach Fabio Capello insisted his side have no choice but to win in order to boost the team's confidence and chances. "It is a very important game. It is fundamental for us. Victories bring confidence and this is vital," Capello was quoted as saying by Sky Sports Network. "Dynamo are a dangerous side away from home. They are good on the counter with some very quick players, and effective in the air from corners." But Real will have to find a player who is capable of filling the right-back role after the injuries of duo Michael Salgado and Brazilian Cicinho. Raul Bravo is the likely replacement as he occupied the position in Los Meringues' 1-0 win over Real Betis in Spanish La Liga on Saturday. On the other hand, Dynamo have also some worries ahead of the tie as Sergei Rebrov and Ruslan Rotan will not play due to injuries. The Ukrainian League runners-up suffered a 4-1 home defeat to Romania's Steaua Bucharest in the UCL opener. Lyon will be aiming to grab their second successive win when they take on Steaua in the other group game. Battle of revenge Manchester United have a task to erase last season's memories when they face Portuguese giants Benfica in Group F. The English giants were eliminated from the group stage last season after they suffered a 2-1 away defeat to Benfica, who qualified to the knock-out phase. "When you think about maturing mentally, you hope the experience of games like the one against Benfica last year can drive the message home far more than the words I could ever say," United boss Alex Ferguson told the club's official website. "We have the ability, there is no question about that. And I believe we have a good squad which is much stronger in terms of being able to handle injuries." United will be missing trio Ryan Giggs, Park Ji-Sung and Mikael Silvestre through injury.
Arsenal look for first European win in Emirates French striker Louis Saha will start despite concerns over a hamstring injury, along with Wayne Rooney whose recent form has been disappointing. The Red Devils made a winning start after defeating Scotland's Celtic 3-2 in an entertaining encounter at the Old Trafford. Benfica, who were held to a goalless draw by FC Copenhagen in the opening game, lost the services of Portuguese playmaker Manuel Rui Costa due to thigh injury. First European match at Emirates English teams have struggled against Porto in the past, but Arsenal intend to put them to the sword in order to have a bright European night at their new venue Emirates in the Group G match. "Our home form will dictate our qualification. We know we play against a big opponent in Porto, who always make it difficult," Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said. "They have a good technical level, they have great experience in the Champions League and they look like they'll win the league this year in Portugal." Porto won their first four matches in the Portuguese League, unlike Arsenal who had an inconsistent domestic start. In the other group game, Germany's Hamburg, who were defeated 2-1 by Arsenal, will face Russian giants CSKA Moscow. French test for Milan Italian giants AC Milan hope to widen Lille's misery in the Group H clash. Lille suffered a thrashing 4-1 defeat to Lyon in the French League but are optimistic regarding their chances. Senegalese keeper Tony Sylva is doubtful because of thigh injury but Lille will welcome back defenders Gregory Tafforeau and Michel Bastos, who were rested against Lyon. Milan, who kicked-off their UCL campaign with a 3-
